Which is better: cable or dsl?

According to your experience which one is better? I have cable and wanted to save some money by switching to DSL.

Download speeds are better with cable. I have had both. You need to buy the high-end DSL package to compete with the speed of the cable modem. So the prices end up being the same. I prefer my cable for reasons of hatred for the phone company and all the issues I had with them over my DSL that would take weeks to resolve.
