No, it's actually a myth that a dry nose means illness in dogs. Dogs noses can go from wet and warm to cold and dry in a matter of minutes, and it's perfectly normal.
Things to be concerned about and take the dog to a vet for:
- if the nose changes in texture (turns flaky, scaly)
- if the nose changes in color
