well i had long hair up until yesterday and mine was really dry and had split ends, so i got it cut. plus its been super hot in michigan and ive been miserable. your best bet is to get a haircut, cause then your stylist can cut away some of the frizz and dry ends, leaving your hair revitalized, smooth, and shiny!
Only shampoo once a week, but condition as often as you want. I reccommend that instead of using a regular conditioner, use a deep-conditioner instead. Try not to flat-iron, blow-dry or chemically relax your hair and invest in a really good leave in conditioner. My hair used to break off like crazy, but since I'v been doing the above, it barely breaks off at al.
