Drving from scarborough to..?

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone was familiar with south service road? Where does it start closest to scarborough/toronto? Do I have to take hwy 2? And if I do..where is the closest cut off to south service road?? Any directions would be great..im...

trying to figure out a route from scarborough to st. Catherines..I've drove down hwy 2 to hamilton then jumped on service road, but I was wondering if it started sooner??
