Droping out in the 8th grade?

I cant take ittt.

Its so hard. I think im failingg. I wannaa drop out. My ddad said if I do its gonna be hard to get through life and get a good job..

How hard is it really?

If you drop out in 8th grade you'll have absolutly not life for yourself and probably end up living on the streets, barley anywhere will hire you if you don't have atleast a high school diploma except places like Mcdonalds but you cant live off that.

My brother dropped out in 10th grade and he regrets it everyday. It's even hard to get a job at most restaurants without a diploma. If you drop out in 8th grade, you're missing 4 years worth of education.

The least you're expected to have these days is a high school diploma, without it you have virtually no chance of getting anywhere in the world. Stick at it, you think yr 8 is hard wait till yr 12.

Ask to be put into non-honor classes

well drop at of honors and go to regular class... dont drop out thatz the last thing you want to do.. you wont get a good job ull end up doin things you dont want to do and ull finali realize that since the moment you dropd out of school all those dreams might be over!

Just get through this year, there's only a little bit left. I find I have a hard time in 3rd quarter, but you'll get through it. People here can help you, your teachers are there to help you, your parents... Friends, schoolmates...

When you go to high school, DO NOT take honors classes. No college Prep either if this is too much that you've got now. I guess that honors do harder stuff, and I know that CP is faster than the regular/basic stuff.

Don't quit school.

LIFE is Hard - drop out and you're in for a triple dose - be smart and make good choices.

Well is not that hard if you dont get a problem ask someone who knows and when you understand the material you will see that is just kids matirial like baby stuff easy to understand.

It will be hard if you quiet school so dont quiet keep doing your best.

dropping out can mess up your life BUT it depends. a lot of people dropped out and got their G.E.D and became very successful. Take me for example I dropped out because I ended up in a school that I really REALLY didnt want to go to and I was going thru major personal problems. BUT THAT WAS IN THE 10TH GRADE NOT 8TH. Got my g.e.d a year later and now witch is 4 years ago im a licensed real estate agent, certified mechanic, and a certified x-ray technician. And im also working on becoming a dentist but currently im making over 50k a year. its not the end of the world if you REALLY have to drop out because not everyone gets a chance to finish high school but your reason doesnt sound good enough. Plus me dropping out made it harder for me to get into a university but I did it! you might not be so lucky because they will see that you was in honor classes and dropped out A MAJOR NO NO!!! so you might want to think about it and if you dont go back at all?!!! unless you become an actor, get a music career, win the lottory, do porn or get a rich husband life will be HELLL trust me I've seen it. Stay in school trust me
