Dreams and dying

I saw this in a movie, and was wondering if its true or not lol.

It said that if you have a dream you are falling like off of a bridge or something you would die if you didn't wake yourself up.

Is that true? and why does that happen if it is true?

I don t think it is some people say if you dream your dying you'll die I've dreamt im dying and haven t died so I don t think its really that true lol not sure tho x

Its just a dream! Its just your brain still working while the rest of your body is resting. Its just those scary crazy people who say stuff like 'OMG! The worlds gonna end in 2015!' No. the world is going to end in millions of years. They're just trying to scare you. Chill! Lol

actually this is the correct saying of the question when youhave those dreams of falling they say once you hit the ground your dead but most likely you shud catch yopurself before you fall
