Do dreams have a meaning?

Is it true dreams really do have meanings? Like honestly, do they have a real meaning ? And if so, where could I go on the internet to figure out what my dream truely means? Thanks

mayb. when ever I have a dream I usually see what happend in the dream the next day, but depending on your dream I dont no. 2 look 4 a website 2 find out go on2 google or yahoo or someother website like that.

I know you say ON THE INTERNET, but I've seen an encyclopedia of dreams at my local library. It was an interesting book, and in mine (don't know about yours) it WASN'T in the reference section.

dreams usually come from something on your mind. often a problem. and sometimes a worry you don't even know you have because it is too deep in your subconscious.

u cant go anywere to find out what your dreams mean you have to look inside you and find your answer only you know what your dreams mean and you may never know what they mean but you have to just hope its good good luck

I want to answer from spiritual point of view.

According to Prophet Muhammed(p.b.u.h), there are three different types of dreams.

1) Dreams which came from our daily personal experiences and made us think so much that we can see a dream which is related to this experience.

2) Dreams from God as gifts to us to warn and guide us. If we see these dreams, it is better to keep with us without disclosing them, because those dreams are special and can change our lives if we truly put our trust in God.

3) Bad dreams from evil that want to depress us and effect our relationships to one another. We should seek refuge in God whenever we feel we see that kind of dream.

Therefore, dreams can be meaningful in terms of spiritual growth and having subconcious effect in our life. I personally think that dreams are meaningful, because many great philosophers and prophets continue or start their mission either with a vision or dreams that guide all humanity. God knows best.
