Put in the wax then braid a REALLY tight braid. Thats what I'm doing. But I'm only doing one dread. Youvegotjordan is wrong about the washing. You CAN wash it just don't brush it. While it's sitting in the braid, you sould tease the bottom of your braid and twist it between your fingers or palms.
HOPE I HELPED!!!
.:!~!SHANNARA!~!:.
a lot of people have dont it themselves
and getting it profesionally done costs too much
one thing you can do it put your hair into braids or plaits
then rub the hair between your hands
in a way that youd rub 2 sticks together to start a fire
this will tangle up your hair and make the braids/plaits stick together
then you keep doing that for a while untill theyve set
it might take a few weeks though
beeswax and wax and that isnt bad to use but its real hard getting it out

Dreads
how do you twist your hair into dreads.I bought the beeswax and I twisted it but a few will come almost undone so is their a certain way to twist the hair so it wont come undone.
