Doubts about taking insulin

If a diabetic is also obese and he must take insuline, what are the problems he must face?

Well depending on what type of diabetes you have. But either way you have to becareful the ammount of insulin you take. Too much can be a risk. Diabetes wores out organs, and could decrease life span.

The diabetic is under doctors' care, but anyway he is afraid doctors may not give him a wide scape of what he must face, because he might choose not to take insulin, which could be wrong of course. He wants to hear other opinions including those of the people who are already taking insulin and are in a similar situation, so every point of view will be welcome.
