This is adorable! I suppose it would depend on how attached your sister is to her dog. Will she get her dog a birthday present? You can't go wrong by getting a small gift for this dog, no matter what the case. Your sister would probably enjoy knowing you paid enough attention to think to get one, and it would simply be cute to say that you knew it was the dogs birthday, so you thought 'what the heck'. I get my dog Christmas gifts, like chew toys, raw hide, denta-bones, stuffed toys, dog treats, etc. Your local pet shop would have some suggestions. No need to go broke, as the dog has no concept of currency, and will simply enjoy something new to smell and explore. But if you don't get a gift, there is no reason to feel bad, or obligated. Just give the dog a scratch behind the ears the next time you see it.
Thats funny, my sister got my dog a birthday present a few weeks ago. (we're twins and got the dog on our 6th birthday. We just turned 21 and always celebrate the dog's bday with ours.)
She got a little picture frame in the shape of a dog, it's cute. I put my dog's pic in it and keep it on my desk.
if I was you I would get the dog a nice new collar maybe with its name engraved in it my dog as 1 its sooo adorable
giving her a gift whould be a nice thing 2 do

Should I get a present for my sister's dog for her birthday? If so what should I get for a dog's birthday present?
