God isn't real and you obviously don't look at both points of view between the atheists and the religious people, we came here through evolution look up Spore creature creator, it kind of is right, when the earth cooled down in its early years an asteroid came down giving earth the elements it needed to create water, then a bacterium had been put together randomly with the simplest configuration of organelles and people need to understand that it is not a living creature or bacterium, there are seven things it needs to be to be living, like mules, they are created through a horse and donkey, but cant reproduce, well this bacterium had only 1 or 2 of the components it needed to become a living creature and as time came along the bacterium started to grow and thus starting the process of evolution, if you dont believe me whales used to be land creatures and then eventually went in the sea, other creatures like the scorpion came from the sea and into land, that was on discovery channel one time, whales how ever have 2 hind legs that are covered within their blubber and are completely useless, bats, fish, monkeys and humans all have very similar hand structures, bats their wings have 5 phalanges, fish fins have 5 phalanges within them, whales do. Monkeys have 5 fingers and so do humans, dolphins use tools, monkeys react through what they need to survive, and Humans are able to learn and think so read up on stuff and evolution beats god, there is more proof of evolution than the bible has and half of the stuff in the bible is contradictions and people say its from the word of god and its plain stupid if you ask me, with Moses and Noah go on youtube and watch Penn and Teller's the bible is bullcrap they'll show you

No not at all. All people wonder at some point and it's ok if you don't believe. I do think God is real but just because some people think that he is does not mean that you have to also. People will try to force it on you but in the end it's your choice.

There IS a position between (figuratively) believing and not believing... you may want to research Agnosticism... see if it fits your way of thinking.

You aren't necessarily a bad or a good person if you are a confused one. We are all a bit of both.

As for why God created us; your answers are in the Book. Read it. It says that God created us in His own image for His own pleasure, that He wanted family.

If you would like to believe more fully, read what the Good Book says about the subject..

Rom 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The Word of God in this context is actually the gospel (refer to Rom 10:15). The New Century Version declares, “So faith comes from hearing the Good News, and people hear the Good News when someone tells them about Christ.”

Therefore, it means that we need to hear what Christ has accomplished for us through the preaching of the Word, so that our faith can grow in response to the knowledge of grace. We have to read the Bible with the revelation of the finished work of Christ. If we take out the cross from the Bible, we are left with the law which is not of faith. Jesus is the focus of the Bible!

There are two important keys. Firstly, it is important to sit under anointed teaching which unveils the finished work of Christ. Romans 10:14-15 talks about us hearing from the preacher of the gospel of Jesus. New Covenant preachers of grace will build faith in the hearts of the people.

(Romans 10:14-15)
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a PREACHER? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:
How beautiful are the feet of those who PREACH THE GOSPEL of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!

Secondly, it is not a one-time hearing of God’s Word; we have to keep hearing it every day and every week. On a daily basis, we can meditate on the finished work of Christ. When we mediate, we are feeding on Jesus, the living Word. We meditate on who we are in Christ, what we have in Christ, and what we can accomplish in Christ.

When we keep hearing God’s Word, faith comes…When fiery darts are shot at us, we can stand up on who we are in Christ. When we are faced with a mountain of problems, we know what we have in Christ. When God asks us to do something, we know what we can accomplish in Christ. The faith that is in our heart through Jesus will carry us through. We stand tall for Him and we do mighty things through Him.

Scripture also says,Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Heb 11:6). Today, Jesus has done everything on the cross. Our part is simply to believe. We don’t have to labor under the law anymore. When we believe, we honor Jesus, and it pleases God.

When people make a choice to continue laboring under law to earn why God has already given through Christ, it means that they doubt God, they doubt His unconditional love, they doubt His abundant grace, and they doubt the finished work on the cross. It also means that they trust in their own ability more than they trust Him. It saddens God; it does not please Him at all. ...

Paul calls our Christian journey a fight of faith (1 Tim 6:12). We are to grow from faith to faith. There are many hindrances to faith. The key hindrance is trusting in self-performance under the law. Sometimes we may not even realize that we have slipped into that mode. After all, everything in the natural world is under the system of law. We are to grow in our dependence on Jesus – from faith to faith.

Another hindrance is to walk on the basis of the temporal things that we see, instead of depending on Jesus’ finished work – which is both invisible and eternal. As Christians, we are to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7). There is a spiritual battle within us. The natural mind looks at natural circumstances and responds with human effort, while the spirit-man looks at the promises of God and responds with faith. God is pleased when we live our lives by faith in Him, in spite of the circumstances.

Remember whether or not you believe in God is not the issue. The Devil and his fallen angels believe in God and tremble. What matters is that God can and does believe in you. Many Blessings

YOU ARE NOT A BAD PERSON AT ALL!!! :-D I will say that I am a Christian, and I believe in God, but I understand your point...and to be honest, there are times where I don't know why everything happens and what ALL of God's reasons are, but I TRUST in God, and I trust Him to have a purpose for me...no matter what anyone decides to believe or not believe in, they are trusting in something. God has a purpose for everyone, whether you believe in God or not, He believes in you. And as far as the different versions of the Bible, they all say the same thing, just in different dialects and ways...There was a man named Jesus who lives for 33 years, He was God in the flesh, He was killed, and then rose again...and is alive today. That's all that truly matters.
happy But God made you with your own will...He doesn't force you to love Him and believe in Him, and that's why Christians shouldn't force anyone either. I'm just telling you what I think...I hope it helps you!!! Have a good day!!!

there is a difference between...

being religious (going to church and following the rules of that religion)

being spiritual (believing in a 'higher being' but not attending church)

being agnostic (there might be something but you don't know what)

there is no rule that states that you must go to church, believe and follow a particular religion or any religion for that matter...

try to be a good person...
try to treat mankind with respect (lol, if they deserve it)...
try to be moral and ethical...

you will be fine...relax

If that's the only thing holding you back from ditching ancient superstitions, you owe it to yourself to read up a little on cosmology and evolution. These sciences explain how we got here, with no help from any gods.

NO! Its normal to question your views and its personal. Searching up information can help clear your head, comparing what you think is and isnt right to different relgions or simply narrowing it down to yes there is a higher power or no there isnt. You dont have to be labeled anything. I have a god and goddess and all relgions are just one big one with many different storys and faces to the creator. End of story. Thats just me but its hard when you feel lost. If you keep looking your gonna find the right believing system for you.

:D And us christians are going to say pick up the bible...
I dont know...I have been feeling bad lately...just because I feel like...I've been ignoring God...and have been letting my lazyness get in the way...or I have been...losing interest? Goodness...I dont want to lose interest,...but I am also confused.
Best of luck to you though...
Perhaps the both of us will...find whatever we are looking for.

I was reading comments from other people andits interesting how you said there are zoo many versions of the bible. That's true, but the bottom line, they all send the same measage. It's hard not getting lost among all the religions that exist, but I learned to live a religion which you might have not heard. It's true we don't see god, but it doesn't mean he doesn't exist. We don't see the wind but we know it's there! Same with god happy email me If you have any questions! Fun mail me. -maggie.

Of course it doesnt. I also use to attend church, I was there every time the doors were open. All of my family is Christian, so I was forced to go up intill I was 12-13 which then I made my choices. I followed my heart. Look at it this way, you were born believing in something of your own, except your family might have took you to church, which then made you believe in God and the Bible.. (brainwashed as id say.)

But still, you are your own person. You shouldnt let anyone, not even family members force you to believe in something you dont. As I did. I am an Atheist.. (please no conflict). Once I got to my sences(and by that I mean to where I started learning of myself) I realized that I was born an Atheist. Regardless of what I was taught and what I was suppose to believe in according to my family. You are most likely going through a stage to where you are now learning who you are, what you where born to be. You are questioning in everything you know to be able to find the real you. Hope this helps!
