Does this boy like me?

I've fancied a guy for a while, but we're in totally different 'cliques' so I never talk to him, and he never talks to me. I thought he hated me bc he ignores me when I tlk 2 him, but a yesterday his friend told me he liked me. I don't know if he's making it up or if it's true, an im so shy so I don't want to ask him. what shud I do?? I know this sounds really immature an all, but im so confused!

I would just find out for yourself, if he likes you, he will make the move. the best thing to do is try to find a time to hang out or make small talk. if you pass him in the hall, say hi. little things like that. that will let him know that you notice him and vice versa!
