Does sex change everything?

I've heard from others that once you have sex with someone it changes your relationship between them? Is this true?...My boyfriend and I are thinking about having sex, but I don't want our relationship to change...in other words I don't want us to drift apart. We talk a lot about everything and I can tell him anything, but I really don't want that all to change because of sex. I'm still trying to decide if I want to lose my virginity already even though I know many people my age around here have already done it...it just seems like such a big decision to me. Knowing me...I would be the one person that would end up getting pregnant and that is one thing I am very afraid of because I am still too young for that much of a life change. I know I'll end up losing my virginity to my current boyfriend in the end, but I'm still not quite sure if I should yet. please someone help me I can't make this decision on my own!!! love yal ~kelsey

To answer your question, yes. It changes everything. I was a virgin until I met my fiance and I made the decision to have sex. It changed everything, but in our situation, things changed for the better. Of course, I was 21 and more mature, and I am so glad that I waited. I don't know how old you are, but I will tell you two things you should consider:

1. Sex is a responsibility. If you are ready to accept the responsibility of having sex, then be prepared to face the possible consequences. Birth control is never 100% effective, and there is always the risk of sexually transmitted diseases.

2. When it's the right time, you will know it. There will be no doubts. When it is the right person, you will know it. There will be no doubts.

This is your own decision to make. Don't pressure yourself into anything. But having sex does change your life. If you don't want to get pregnant yet. DOn't have sex at all. I don't know how old you are. Just don't do something that you don't want to do. Just make the right decision if you want sex or not. But do what you want to do in your life. Just do the right thing. Decide whether you want to do that or not. Just do the right thing for yourself
