running helps with lower leg strength (thighs and calves) for your tummy do 150-200 situps a day. and for your arms use a dumbbell that isnt extremely heavy, but enough to give you a workout, and once you feel ready to go to a heavier weight in the dumbbell, do it.

in all honesty, situps don't do NEARLY as much as other exercises. Lifting weights, well, you don't even need to do that either. If you want abs, run a couple miles a day on your treadmill with your stomach tightened. Some other exercises: Lay on your back with your legs straight out, raise them 6 inches off the ground and hold them for 30 seconds. Do 3 sets of 10 of these. Lay on your back and pedal your legs up in the air like you're on a bicycle. Tighten your abs while you do these exercises. Push-ups are good for your arms. Do them slowly. Squats are good for the legs. Try getting a big ball to exercise with. You can do wonders with those. If you really want bulky arms... then I guess you could lift weights. I mean, I can bench over 370lbs but that's because I'm a power lifter. I'm not entirely sure what you're looking for.

Running also helps with endurance and stamina. It is a great activity to keep your heart rate strong and steady. Just don't overdo it on the treadmill, meaning don't start running on it too fast, build up your speed gradually, and also don't stay on it too long because it does put pressure on your knees. On a treadmill you get kind of a bouncing effect which is what is bad for your knees. Mix it up with some running outside. Also make sure to stretch and warm up before doing any exercise.
