Does anyone play violin?

hey does any one play violin??
I really want to but they are so expensive and everyone says its hard...is it?
o I also want to play alto flute so same goes!

I played it for 4 years , they're kind of expensive , it depends if they've been used or new , and it was hard to learn when I first got it , but then I played it 30 minutes every day and I got the hang of it , and what ever you do DON'T buy the palintinos or davil violins because they are SO hard to tune and I have a palinito and it sucks

umm... I dont play but my friend does! its only hard if you dont practice, so if you get one( or rent one) practice it!

I actually don't play one, but my friend does. It's not too hard I suppose, but it helps if you come from a musical background. I managed to learn the notes and a short song in about half an hour.

yes I play the violin and it is a lot of money, but you can get them cheap(http://www.amazon.com). Also it really isn't hard, you have to just pay attention.
