Does my old boss like me?

I had worked with him for 5 years and he got transferred to a new place. He has always been flirty with me, but I never thought anything of it. When he got transferred he took me out and we talked for a couple hours nothing special. now that we do not...

work together our relationship has changed. He texts me on a regular basis about sex and other things but he is super sarcastic and I doont know if he is being for real. he told me that if I wanted him to make a move that I would tell him to and he said if he ever tried anything I would probably hate him but than he say hes kidding??? Is he kidding or is he too scared to tell me the truth??

Your old boss is not kidding!! If he didn't have a interest in your why would he be sending you texts and having lunch with you. He is testing the waters and seeing how will you react to his sarcastic statement. So if you like him tell him that you would like to see were this friendship will go, but don't lead him on if you don't have any feeling for the guy. Cut it at the bud if you don't like it because the issue will become big we don't want to see anyone hurt or in trouble.

I definately do like him, but I do not want to ruin our friendship by telling him how I feel or how to tell him.

If you like him tell him don't beat around the brush that’s childish and immature games!!! Let me guess you are young still maybe you are about18- 25 huh? He already have been making sexual jokes to you, as well he have taken you out for lunch another one is that he have been texting you on a regular base, so there are some interest there alone for you Kim. A strong relationship foundation comes from being friend first play that's play a huge part. SO DON'T BEAT AROUND THE BRUSH!!! Let the poor guy knows how you feel, but make sure if it doesn't work out tell him that friendship is what you do cherish most

Well I told him via email because he was at work and its been 2 days and he still has not responded, so I think I may have blew that out of the water.
