States have different Labor Laws....ask your local McDonalds and they'll be able to tell you the age they hire in your state.

So no they don't hire 13 year olds. many businesses will not hire minors because of the strict laboring laws. Minors can only work certain hours and those hours are limited. The business can get huge fines and lawsuits for not complying completely.
