Does it hurt to have an abortion?

I was just wondering. I'm not preg. but courious.

I haven't had an abortion but my friend has and she said it hurt a lot she was in bed rest for a few days (btw she had an abortion because of medical reasons not because she wanted to) so it would have hurt her more than the average woman

ya my mom said she had an abortion from giving labour to me and she said it hurt a lot and she died and came back to life she says it was wierd but ya I bet it would hurt plenty

From the research I've done, it hurts you far beyond the physical pain.

Yeah one of my friends had a abortion about a year ago. They don't drug you and the doctor sticks a very large plastic tube and clamp up you a swirls the baby around and sucks it out with the tube. It;s really gross cause it's like a green bloody, mucus thing. She was crying a lot and said it hurt for awhile but it was more emotionally draining on her than anything because she had to watch her child die in front of her
