Does it hurt to get the top of ear pierced?

Im thinking of getting the top of my ear pierced...but does it hurt?

Im not good with pain at all and really dont want it done if its going to make me cry lol.

I got my ears pierced at the bottom allready but I cant member the pain then...I remember I cried though but I was much younger then.

Also I wear glasses and im just thinking..will the piercing keep knocking on the leg of my glasses?? Because I wont get it done if it is going to be uncomfortable for me to have.

So...honestly..how much does it hurt?

It dosen't hurt at all I think, actually it hurts more 2 get it pierced at the bottom. but what really hurts is 2 get it pierced in the middle.

I DIDNT THINK IT HURT. GET A BARBELL PET IN SO THE BACK OF THE EARRING DOESN'T STICK YOU IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WHEN YOU SLEEP

well obviously you're going to feel SOMETHING but its just like a little pinch..
a really really quick pinch..

but one way that it can hurt is when it comes to aftercare..
all you have to do is make sure you disinfect it properly and you shud have no pain what so ever..I barely remembered to disinfect mine and it was still ok =P

oh yeah and be careful not to get your hair wrapped around it...because the hair can tangle up in between your ear and the back of the earring...really disgusting AND really sore..

but otherwise not sore AT ALL!!!

I got my cartilige pierced in 5th grade... and I cant stand pain at all... so I held on to the chair as tight as I could, and it pinched for a quarter of a mili-second, but it was so worth it...

untill I found out I was allergic to nickel... XP

first off...do NOT get it done with the gun
people at the salon and mall are not profesionals
they have no expirience
and the gun is full of germs from other people blood...the thing should be banned...
now...
it wont really hurt, its nothing you can handle
and it wont get in the way of your glasses
...grab the bit of your ear were it touches your head at the top
now, the peircing will go on the opposite side of that
...well away from were the glasses sit

I got both of mine pierced with the gun and they are perfectly fine never infected or anything so the gun it perfectly fine. It didn't hurt at all it was just a little pinch and that's it you just have to make sure you clean it and take care of it.

When I got mine pierced, it did hurt. Please make sure you keep them very clean, so they'll heal properly. An infected piercing can REALLY hurt!
