Does it hurt to get cartilage pierced?

ok...I am 13 and im gettin my cartilage pierced but im a pain baby, I HATE pain. but I want it done so bad and I am so excited. does it realt hurt as bad as what everyone says it does

it does hurt but its over so fast you only feel it for a little while, the only thing I dont like is that you can hear it, but it really is over in seconds and it'll just be sore for a few days like any piercing would be.

Well they have to like have a needle go through it! It's kinda like their going to staple your ears, but with a needle going to all the way through!! So when they pierce your ear it will hurt just a little and you will have to keep an earing in for a while till they tell you that you can take it out!! Also, you will have to keep puting achohol on it everyday till they say you don't have to anymore! the people who are going to pierce your ears will tell everything you need to know! happy

It hurts, the first couple of days really bad, but after that you will be fine, plus I think that it was totally worth it.

Expect lots of pain - it wont hurt as much
Don't expect pain - it will hurt a lot.

That trick works well, I use it every time I get a tattoo/piercing.

I am 14 I gao mines pierced at 12 and I didnt feel nothing at all execpt after it was really red and it felt hot but it didnt hurt
