Does hypnotherapy work?

Some people say that hypnotherapy works to cure them of different things but I find this hard to believe. Does hypnotherapy work?

I think it work they say it only works on 7 percent of us meaning that it only really get hypnotized deeply I had some try to hypnotize me but nothing happend

I think it depends on the person and how willing they are- hypnosis isn't anything magical it just tries to get the person into a certain mindset through certain techniques. I don't really believe in it, but I think that for some people it can help to relax them or if they believe they are being cured of something then they have a better mindset, and in turn cure themselves of whatever their ailment was (stress, constant worrying, whatever.)
