I am not the type of girl to fall in love. but this summer it happened. I went to high school with this guy and always thought he was cute he was much older than me so I was shy around him. We started hanging out a lot this summer and both fell in...

love right away. We both parted at the end of summer.We decided to go our seperate ways, realizing if it was meant to be than we would get back together some day. I still love him very much and I know he still loves me. He is dating someone else now and they are pretty serious but he claims he is only in it because he gets lonely. I am not sure if I should try to get over him or believe him when he tells me we will be back together someday. PLEASE HELP!

I agree with swtdrm! He is stringing you along and you should forget about him. He may be afraid of hurting your feelings and doesn#039;t want to tell you he sees no future for the 2 of you. If he really loved you, then he would be with you!

i partly agree with the two above Partly because due to many Stupid reasons the if you love him and if he loves you then why arent you together nonsense isnt happening like that.Thats peoples easiest way out of a subject.Because honestly speaking either the guy or the gurl turns out to be the hardheaded one that wants to act like he/she doesnt give a crap but at the end ends up regretting his/her stupidities.but they do have a point you shouldnt be waitting on wha may never come back try to look for someone else or atleast give him time to decide what he truly wants.but let him realize it on his own not because someone else is making him decide.because an easy NO gets people put of every situation possible.because it is usually not followed by a WHY....
