Does he really like me or not

Ok I have this really good guy friend I mean we are really close but see I like him more then just a friend & so when I talk to my friends I use intials so that if anyone reads it they wont know who it is well the guy that I like read a note that my friend wrote me & it said stuff like you really like Dp & stuff like that & he goes whos Dp I go someone he goes is it me I go no (which really was) & he was asking what grade & the school he went to & then he was asking the whole class whos intials were Dp & so he was like I'm not talking to you until you tell me he goes I'm mad at you but he was playing! & so I told him during 7th period & he just kinda laughed & I was sitting down in a desk & he was standing beside my desk talking to this guy named james & james was asking him who he was holding hands with earlier & he goes my homegirl he goes she wanted me to smash it but I didnt but I should have & he was telling james how many times he has had sex with this one girl & I was right there & I had just told him I liked him well I wrote him a note & gave it to him today & it said like do you like me like would you ever go out with me I dont mean right now or anything! & he wrote me back & it said yeah I do like you but not much but I'm getting there the more I talk to you the more I like you I could see us going out in the future! So I dont know if he really likes me or not or if he was just saying that to be nice! what should I do just wait till he really likes me or what do yall think all of this means? I need help

It sounds like he likes you, but not enough. What does that mean? He likes you, but not enough to turn and talk to you when you just revealed how you felt about him. He likes you, but not enough to stop bragging about how much sex he's getting from such-n-such a girl {thereby not respecting you OR her}. He likes you, but not enough to stop going with this other girl and ask you. He likes you in the wings waiting for him. He likes you as a backup in case his real-girl doesn't work out. He likes you, but not enough right now--he wants you to wait until later. He likes you, but not 'enough.' And as long as this is okay with you--he'll treat you this way.

He was probably talking about that other chick in front of you to do one of two things. He's trying to scare you away or he's afraid that he likes you. It's hard to say because young boys are goofy. I would suggest not getting to bent over him. You are just experiencing a serious crush which is totally normal.

hm....I'm kinda in a situation somewhat like that right now too but I've learned so much out of this. but I think that he might have said that right infront of you about that other girl either becasue (like the person above me said) he wants you to back down or he's just a guy being a....guy and trying to make you jeolous. The guy that I really like right now, loves trying to make me jeolous but I'm not going to lie, I do try to make him jeolous at times too:/. Or he could be playing hard to get:/

I have started dating a boy who is 17 and so am I. We have never been sexually intimate with each other. He tells me he loves me all the time in texmessages and I am the girl he wants to marry as soon as we turn 18. He has already chose our childrens names Victoria and Brian. We spend every spare minute together. He calls my mom mom and she calls him son already. I have been hurt in the past severely I just want to hear an expert oppinion whether I should guard my heart or take him for what he is. We both come from the same background for example we both have very controlling step parents who would sabotage us if they could. Neither knows that we are together but our real parents do and support us. My mom says he is missing a mothers love in his life and I am a fathers. She feels we cling on each other becuase we understand how hard it is to have relations with the opposite sex due to our controlling step parents. Only we understand each other becuase of this situation with them and have more tolerance where someone who has free will to bring home anyone without things getting ugly could not understand. I can see myself marrying him without a doubt when we turn 18. He says he will go to school and so will I we are not having children till later on in life. Can this work I know two other couples who married young and have been married for more than 20 years. I hope I don't sound to crazy but I am young still and unsure where this will go. I cannot take anymore hurts in my life. My step dad has made it so hard to date anyone in the past and this one says he will put up with it for me as long as I can deal with his step mom also. I am doing a project on this right now for s*x ed, if you think he likes you that way he would have dropped the girl he was dating and date you, watch him in class if he stares at you sometimes then he might have some feelings for you

well, I think that it was really harsh of him to be sayin that he had s*x with that other girl a lot when he obviously knew you were right there, an dif he likes you or not or starts to like you more then I personaly think you should watch out he might just want to use you...
