There's this new guy at my school. He knew a few of my friends from sports and stuff, so we were introduced by a mutual friend. At first he was really rude and short with me, but then one day last week I glanced...

at him while he was eating and kind of stared because he takes really small bites. Ha, lame I know. So he waited until all the people around me had left to put their trays up, and comes and yells 'do you have a freaking staring problem?' I replied with you take girly bites and he left. So then at the foot ball game he comes up to me and was all 'this gross girl keeps following me and asking me out. and talking to me about his girl problems. And now when ever I see him in the hall he always says hey, or whats up. So then when I was standing in the hall the girl standing in front of me was all Jason were you checking out Evalynn? I didn't even know he was standing behind me and I didn't pay attention to his reaction. For some reason my friends think he likes me, do you?

He might - or he could just be being friendly.
It's really hard to know for sure./ If your friends think he likes you so much then you should get one of them to ask him and see what he says.
