Does he like me??

okay well there is this boy at school, he is really cute, there are always rumors going on about everything with him, he has a locker right beside mine and at first he was really mean to me then he was really nice, and he talks to me now, but not like we're best friends. I don't know if he hates me or if he likes me. Everybody says this really pretty girl is going out with him but also a lot of people say that they broke up. But I don't know if he asked me out I have a best friend who absolutely ADORES him. I would never want to hurt her. I know for a fact he likes me more then her. But what do I do?

Jelp your friend with him first learn if he likes her stuff like that and then tell her and he likes her so be it and if not tell your friend and then ask your friend if it's no trouble with her (friendship wise) to see if he likes you
