Whether it 'exists' or not, when one has it, the feeling is real enough.
Also, one could not experience happiness if one had never experienced sadness.
Maybe that is all that matters.
Of course happiness exists...it's all around us, unfortunately so is sadness. Like everything...Light/Dark, Hot/Cold, etc. etc.
What if someone has only experienced sadness his entire life and has never felt happiness but has only heard of it? Is it possible for a person to live his entire life in sadness and misery? If so, do you know of any cures?
Happiness is something you create yourself, it is not going to come up to you and tap you on the shoulder. What I mean by create it yourself...you have to learn to find good in things and yes it is very hard to do in this cruel world, but it is possible. Like the old saying goes, if life gives you lemons, then make lemonade.
If your car breaks down on the side of the road, then maybe it happened to keep you from being in a serious car accident. Or if you get sick with the flu, thank goodness it isn't cancer. You see what I mean?
thats just like saying god is a figmant of your imagination...you believe in him because theres nothing else that makes you as happy, you believe in god, he makes you happy...so hapiness to you would include that hey.
eeryone has there own opinion on what makes THEM happy
As long as you can believe that you have it, happiness is always there. But if you keep thinking this way, you are sure to be lost in a sea of misery.

Does happiness exist?
It it possible that happiness doesn't exist? Maybe people just beleive in happiness because the world is such a miserable place and they want to be happy. Happiness might just be a mirage and the Universe a desert that has no happiness, just mirages of happiness. Abandoned, Isolated and Forsaken, The human race is left alone to suffer the darkest regions of Hell, confined by the four walls of the Universe. Ever wonder what the universe really is? Just a dark empty space, a dark well where we are confined to suffer eternally. Devoid of happiness, yet plunged in an ocean of misery. Maybe we are all alone and life means nothing at all. Maybe Happiness is just a lost vision or an ideal that people wish to reach but finally realize they can't? Do you think this is true?
