Does getting your ear cartilage pierced, hurt?

Im getting a stud there, and I was wondering if it hurts when you put a shirt on or sleep on it? In addition, does it hurt when getting it?

sometimes when your hair or the brush gets caught in it... at first it did hurt a little bit when I slept on it, but its better in a couple of days...=D

it shouldnt much
just dont get it done with the gun
people at a salon or mall are inexpirienced, unprofesional, and untrained
they have no idea what there doing, they practice on fruit
and the gun is full of germs from other peoples blood
they dont sterilize it, they just wipe it clean
so if you want to be safe get it done with a surgical steel needle

when you first get it done it feels hot. but it doesnt hurt as your getting it done. but you have to learn to sleep on the other side of your head

I got both of mine done and it really is nothing to be worried about its not painful just a quick pinch, and after yes it is sore nothing you cant handle just if you are sensitive just done touch it, its really not painful.
