Does anyone online like poetry?

I'm aspiring to become an author of poetic novels.
I've posted about 6 or 7 poems online here from the three books I've written and my goal is to develop a fan base do that if I ever publish my books I won't be an unknown author.
My poems are written in the vein of Poe, where he could tell more than one story in each poem, but the difference is that I've written all of mine to be more personal so that anyone who reads them and has had similar situations they can take comfort in knowing that they are not alone.
What they are basically are condensed chapters of my life written in poetic form.
I've read a lot of poetry and never seen that done in a personal fashion because it's against the method of poetic writing but I wanted to do something different.
