Does anyone know of seurity work available ?

Everyone - if anyone on this site knows of any security work available or belongs to any job involving security or doorman work in or near cardiff then please keep reading. Any advice on security work would be brilliant thankyou.
My dad was made...

redundant and has been looking for work for 6 months. However he's been everywhere looking and nowhere seems to have any full time work available. Employers seem to be looking for people they know personally but my dad cant know everyone. He is fully qualified for security jobs he has passed the license for an s.I.a badge and is waiting for it to arrive, and also has passed the following qualifications;
Health and safety, fire marshall, n.v.q level 1, 2, 3 in bar service and excellence, food and hygene, first aid, city and guilds conflict management, bilab door supervisor level 2, bilab conflict management, bilab door supervisor level 2 roles and responsibilities and bilab drug awareness. He has also passed english maths and science at g.c.s.e level all with a grade b.
He doesn't know im helping him this way, im just hoping to possibly find something. He has a wife and 3 children to support and needs a job therefore he will work hard. He is perfect for security work because of his strong build. He is very determined and will not let you down. He has been searching through every job centre and has tried in dozens of places, just nowhere seems to have any work available. He is in his early thirties and is looking for full time work, however he is willing to work over time. I would be extremily grateful if anyone were to reply to this knowing of any security work.
