I don't believe that I'm allergic to dairy but I seem to be sensitive to it.
I have seasonal allergies and when I drink dairy it seems to make my seasonal allergies much worse.
When I ate and drank dairy foods I was on multiple meds to manage my allergies and asthma: Singulair, Serevent, and Nasonex and to tell the truth they weren't doing the job. When I started avoiding dairy my symptoms improved to the point where they still bother me but not badly enough to require medication.
If your fiance is having problems with dairy there is something you can easily do, avoid it. That is what I did.
Thats what he does. Avoid. But its hard sometimes checking every little thing when going out to eat. Sometimes some things have butter in it, which we didnt know about, and it makes him sick.
I've just never heard of Dairy knocking someone out in bed for a few days!
Thanks for the help!
Im lactose intolernet and if I have dairy my stomach ceases up and cramps but when im on my period its 3 days of the month I can have dairy without it affecting me weird lol
I have never heard of a whey or Cassein allergy. Whey is supposd to be the most easily digested protein, but suppose it is possible.

Does anyone have or know about these type of dairy allergies?
Send me Fun Mail
My fiance is Allergic to Dairy Products, but only became allergic 3 years ago. His symptoms have nothing to do with intestinal problems. If he has even the slightest bit of Dairy, he has Flu like symptoms, or a severe sinus headache that puts him in bed for a few days. We have described him as Lactose Allergic, rather than Lactose Intolerant.
-A Doctor has not been able to diagnose him.
After doing some experimenting we think that maybe the allergy could be caused by Casein or Whey.
Has anyone heard of any allergy like this or knows of anyone with the same symptoms? We are trying to figure out if this is common or if there is anything that can be done!!
