Does anyone hate mcr?

they are rubbish they have no right to be worshiped like they are. on top of that the poeple who like them are mean, nasty and depressing poeple. please either change my mind or agree with me

I hate mcr!! I listened to them once and I got soo depressed! they suck!

I like them - and I think your extremely judgemental. I am not nasty nor am I depressed.

I can't stand their music to be honest. He lacks vocal range/ variation and his voice is so bad (in my opinion), lol. I don't like the image they portray either. They say they hate stereotypes and then they go right ahead and follow one precisely. Of course my music may not be any better (liking Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Scar Symmetry and all), but my opinion of My Chemical Romance is quite low really...

I don't like them, I personally think it takes no talent to scream.

They don't scream dear, lol... But it does take talent and devotion to scream (at least for the good bands anyway :D).

It's wrong to stereotype, but they actually do it themselves. The image they present matches a stereotype and it is deliberate in an attempt to suit popular culture (or at least what you would really refer to as a minority group or sub-culture, lol). As for screaming, they do have a screaming vocalist, but I think he does that in a separate (but equally terrible) band called Leathermouth, lol.

They aren't stereotyping themselves, that's rediculous. The image they give off? Um all they do is dress how they want to. There's nothing wrong with that and people shouldn't be put into some stupid group because of how they look.

Yes some of their music is sad but it isn't depressing unless you make it that way. I like them because I think they have good songs with good meanings. Gerard Way is a good singer and has talent, along with the rest of the band. And no, in the band My Chemical Romance, they don't scream. Leathermouth, yes they do but this question is talking about MCR not Leathermouth. Screaming and Singing are two different things. Of course if Screaming ain't your thing then you might not like bands that do it. As for not liking the people that scream, well whats the reason??

yes I really hate that band as well...sounds like hes crying or whining most of the time hes trying to sing everyone has their own taste...bu I think it sounds aweful

I love mcr and I'm not nasty or depressed and they have saved hundreds and thousands of peoples lives they have given people a reason to live so if you say you hate mcr then you don't really know what they're like and how truly deep their music is and how many lives of people they have saved and anytime someone hears about a suicide of a teenager they see if they liked mcr and if they did they think they commited suicide because of them and the daily mail had an artical a couple of years ago about a girl called Hannah Bond look it up on google. mcr fans had a protest about it. whoever says they hate mcr without even listening to their music are the type of people who always judge a book by its cover which incase your parents haven't told you, you shouldn't do
