I think there has been a lot more peace in the world or at least in the united states!
I also think things will start to change in 1 or 2 years!!!

I could be wrong, in fact I hope I am. For the past 10 - 15 years money in the form of credit was very easy to get, regardless of your ability to pay it back. This formed what we call a credit bubble. Everyone started living as if the credit was normal growth. This is what made real estate prices go so high.

To get back to the way it was (which got us in this mess to begin with) banks need to start lending again. The banks know people are broke so they wont lend. This in turn creates more job losses and is really a cascading effect. AKA a depression.

It took the country years to get in this mess and we all know its far easy to spend than to save. Its gonna get far worse. I hate to say that, but its inevitable.
