Well, it's your car. Doesn't matter the car. Practice. And, what I mean by that is this. Try it (in 1st gear) at different RPM's. And, remember what you are doing. Go into somewhere you're not going to hit anything or not going to be around a butt load of traffic. And practice a lot. No one can tell you how to drive because unless you figure it out on your own all the advice in the world won't help you. Are you going for peeling out? Then give it about 7000 RPM's and slowly let off the clutch. Enjoy buying a lot of tires? you just need to drive it man. And practice in parking lots or somewhere you can stop and go and stay in 1st until you get it down. Remember the sound the engine makes when you need to shift. If you are doing this to race then you need to get to a point to where you can recognize engine sounds of when the best time to shift at what gear you're in. Good luck man.
