Does an eyebrow piercing hurt?

Does anyone know if eyebrow piercings are painful? I'm thinking of getting one, well my mom is considering allowing me to and she wants to know if it hurts.

I'm a wimp when it comes to pain, because I'm quite sensitive. But if it feels like a shot...

that's fine, I just want to know to expect.

Also how do they pierce it? Is it similar to earring? Or nose? Or what?!

Honestly, it hurt less than an ear piercing, and based on other opinions, is the least painful piercing you can ever get :]
All an eyebrow is really is a piece of flesh, not really any big nerves or any cartilage...making it easy to pierce.
Try not to touch it until the swelling and stuff goes down though. As like any wound, it will hurt upon contact, especially since theres a piece of metal in it now, lol.

What they do is you close your eyes and they pull the eyebrow out a little bit so they have room, and also, since the skin is stretched, the needle will go through it easier. They then take a needle and just stick it through :]
It's over really fast, and I didn't even realize it was over until they told me to get up, hahah.

Make sure you get a cleaning/anti-infection liquid to put on the eyebrow.
This is not only help it heal faster, but prevent infections :D yeyy.

My eyebrow hurt less than my ear. It's really just skin, so there isn't any cartilage or anything for it to go through. It barely feels like anything at all!

My step-dad the easy one to get through, but my mum's not too bad either. They're both not that strict, obviously. Which makes it easier. =D

heyy, im 14 and im thinkin about getting one. I already h ave both my ears pierced so you think it will hurt more for me since im younger?

An eyebrow piercing doesnt hurt you will feel a little pinch but anyways I wouldnt consider it painful.they look really good on people and I would get one between the ages 12 and up mine did not hurt and im only 13 so yeaa

I'm supposed to be getting mine ral soon I'm only 12 though so...from what I've heard I'm not really scared any more I just can't wait to get it now..lol.but which hurts more the curved one or the like that little hoop one..(curious)?

I had mine done about 4-5 months back it didnt hurt at all and its over soo fast you dont even realise it good luck

hi I am only 13 I am getting my eyebrow pierced these holidays I am good with pain but still a bit freaked out by the fact that I am getting a whole on my face lol.
there is a person on another site who is just trying to freak people out saying it is the most painfull thing that can be done.
I have never been pierced but my friend has his eyebrow peirced and said it didnt hurt.

I had my eyebrow pierced yesterday an I foundit hurts more after but, the pain to me resemblespinching your ear lobe quite hard, cleaning it hurts more
