Does a monroe piercing hurt? honestly!

Has anyone had the monroe piercing? And does it hurt? I'm getting it in two weeks!!

I highly doubt it'll be very painful. It honestly just depends on how much pain you personally can handle. Most of the time it's not near as bad as some people make it out to be. If you truly want it, get it. Don't be scared - if it's done professionally and you properly care for it afterwards, you won't have any issues.

I do, and yes to be honest it KILLS! (Considering you have 3 layers of skin on your lips) and on the topnits worse cause you usually dont get as much movement upthere. I have my right Monroe and left snakebite. So I know, its totally 100% worth it though!!

I've got one
and not really because I have a high pain tolerance
they clamp your lip, stick a hollow needle through,
then thread the jewelrey through the needle
your eyes might water a little bit
just be aware that if you go to a school with a dress code they wont allow it
and most jobs consider facial peircings unprofesional
also when you take it out youll be left with a small pimple/freckle sized scar

it stings alittle but it doesnt hurt so bad.
I have spiderbites and my best friend has a monroe,
it didnt hurt, the only thing you have to remember is
when your getting it pierced close your eyes and DONT
forget to breathe. I know it sounds stupid but
a lot of people hold there breath. DONT DO THAT.
keep breathing through the pain.

Thanks for writing back! I got it done though and it didn't at all. It still doesn't hurt and I've only have had it for two days.. But thank you for the comments...

when I had mine done it didnt hurt what so ever,,im glad I had it done now happy ...mine bled tho and only one in a thousand people bleed but its all good now :D x

um... I wanna get it done really bad but like my grandma is super paranoid bout all that tattoo and peircing stuff... I watched some videos and it didnt look so painful I think people make it worse than it needs to be :D
