I really do not believe the doctor would know for sure if most girls were sexually active. The v*gina stays the same before and after s*x. Having a baby can stretch the v*gina out, but having s*x does not.
If the hymen is torn, that would not prove or disprove virginity either. Hymens tear from fingers, tampons, and even running and jumping. So the doctor does not know your sexual history by looking at your hymen.
Any little tears inside the v*gina could be a result of s*x, but they also could be a result of mast*rbation. So the doctor would not know for sure then either. In cases of rape, however, where tears are often worse than during consensual s*x, the ob-gyn would be probably be suspicious.
Obviously if there is a pregnancy or STD, that would be good evidence that the girl was sexually active too.
The only other way I can see that ob-gyns may be able to tell if a girl is having s*x is if the s*x was very recent and unprotected since she may be able to see sperm when looking closely at the sample of cervical cells she took during the pap. However, having s*x soon before a pap is not recommended anyway, and teenagers really should not be having unprotected s*x!
So in most cases, I do not see how the ob-gyn would know for sure. As long as the girl is not pregnant, does not have STDs, did not have unprotected s*x very recently, and was not recently raped, the ob-gyn is not going to know all about her sexual history.

Can the doctor tell if I've had sex?
hey, can I have sexual activity without my doctor finiding out? Becuase I dont want my parents too know!
