Do you usually answer questions asked by fau or funadvice?

I usually skip them unless I really feel my answer might be helping others.

viewing their profile which might help in the formulation of my answer, and second, there are just becoming too many questions to be able to read and answer all of them so some sorting criteria has to be used.

How about you? Do you think anonymous questions get fewer reads and answers than those that use their user name?

I dont think so. If I see a question I know how to answer, or I've been in a similar situation, I'll answer. If I think its pointless, been asked 100 times before, or is so obvious, I wont answer.

Depends on why it is fau... sometimes it is because the problem is serious enough they want annonimity... if that is the case then yes, otherwise, I now tend to answer stuff that doesnt have too many answers...

I seem to find Anonomyous questions to be interesting.
I answer both funadvice and fow. It doesn't really matter. But, I do agree that in order to find out whoes question it is, you'd want to view the profile. I've had a couple questions I decided to mark anonomyous.
I do find it interesting though.
