In a speech on Iraq policy delivered Monday at George Washington University, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton recalled facing “sniper fire” on her 1996 trip to Bosnia to visit U.S. troops on a peacekeeping mission. But reporters...

traveling with the then-First Lady made no reference to any “sniper fire” at the time, and pictures of Clinton arriving at the main air base in Tuzla don’t show anyone ducking or covering - Do you think this happened ?

As with most things political, there is some truth mixed in among the lies here...

Actually having known soldiers who were stationed in Bosnia-Herzegovina, sniper attacks did happen and were a concern. Thus Mrs. Clinton probably WAS briefed that it was a possibility that she and her entourage could have been engaged by snipers.

Not only that, but remember she was the First Lady then so the Secret Service would have taken a mild threat of surface to air missiles or sniper attacks a lot more gravely and probably would have acted to minimize the threat to her while other members of the entourage, (a comedienne and a pop star) would not have had the same security coverage. With that said though, other than Hillary's account, I have not heard one report of her, her plane or her security detail ACTUALLY receiving fire, so Hillary, in all likelihood, has simply exaggerated the threat to make it seem like she was in a truly dangerous situation.

No, I think Hillary is lying. She lies about so many things. She is behind in the polls and wants people to feel sorry for her. Well she is a sorry person. Sorry, I gave you more info than you asked for.

All politicians exagerate their experience, especially when they get desparate. Hillary is very desparate, since she sees there is really no way she can win. She is too far behind.
