Do you think the yankees bought their title?

Please keep this friendly. But I want to know if you think the Yankees bought their 27th world title due to their $280million dollar off season spending spree, and their 1.2 billion dollar stadium? Please tell us what you think. One more thing I only ask...

this question because there was some speculation on ESPN that they did.

Where do you think all the money comes from in the first place? They make that much because they are such a good team and so many people come to see them. Its the same rules as consumerism. Companies become big and rich because they have a good product, same goes here for the Yankees.

I think if they did buy their 27th world title cause of money and stuff, someone would have noticed and we'd all be hearing about the arguing. I didn't see the game, but I'm sure they won fair and square.
