He Is Waiting

I throw my attention and my eyes to the sky,
Waiting for resolve or a bright white light,
For what my lips were syncing,
To what my mind was thinking,
Right before I climbed into my bed last night.

I spread my arm wide,
There is no way I...

will run or hide,
From the things He is waiting to teach.
I realize the impact He has on me.
I embrace Him with the shadows of my light.

I saw what I was looking for,
Three or four stars from the moon, maybe one more.
And I know He’s still listening,
And my eyes are still glistening
He’s waiting for me to walk through His door
