Do you like my poem?

So basically it is 2:10 a.m. and I decided to write a poem...I wrote it in about 5 minutes, but I kinda like it...not about anyone in particular, but I was inspired

Do you see that I'm alive
or that I seem to thrive
when I am by your side

But I sit here in despair
prayin for wings
to fly away
while you begin your repair

As I wait for the knock
of your hand on my door
I stare at the clock
praying for more
than the sound of the rain
falling in the background

An hour goes by
and then another
and all at once I feel smothered

You aren't coming
and I don't care
because I have my own repairs
for the holes in my heart
al least it didn't break apart
