Do you like my poem?

♥ This is Me ♥ Asked by orcaspirit over 2 years ago, 3 answers.

I made this poem when I was about 14 and I was going through my dark stage of life so it might sound emo. lol but im not anything like emo. but I would just like to know if its good or not. Everybody says I should publish all my poems, but this is my...

favorite one. Id like some other peoples advice before I publish and possibly make a fool of my self. Thank you for your opinon! =)

TEAR DROPS DOWN HER CHEEKS

Gray clouds rumbling,
sitting in the rain,
imagining of something not possible,
she thinks shes insane

Thinking about being in love
and knows she wont get it
it hides and cant be found
thinking she can wait for it

Waiting on and on,
still waiting for love,
tears start to show
thinking just rain from above

realizing the water on her cheeks
were miserable tears
causing puddles in her palms
that she hasnt had for many years

Thinking love will never come
forcing herself to get up
standing,crying, shivering
shes giving up

Wow.. that poem left me breathless. I cannot begin to imagine the grief, the pain the persona in this poem must be going through. It is darkly beautiful, and cries to people to be read. I think you should definetly try to get it published.
