See a doctor or whatever to see if you have depression?

Where can you go to see a doctor or whatever to see if you have depression??
if I do..
Does my mother have to come with me.
I mean, can I go by myself without her ever finding out?

if I talked to a nurse about trying to quit cutting, are they...

like obligated to tell your parents?
Or like--the shool councelor.
If you talk to her//him about stuff.
Can they tell your parents anything??

Most school officials are required by law to disclose harm to self or others. There is no shame in being depressed. It is a medical condition just like Diabetes. It could make all the difference in the world for your quality of life if you get some kind of treatment.

go to your school counselors or a mental health office they can tell you what to do from there

Go see your regular doctor... he can refer you to a specialist
or if you talk to your counselor/nurse they can refer you

unfortunately yes, if you tell them that you cut they have to tell your parents... (I dont know about the therapist though...)

if you dont want to tell your parents about the cutting, just tell the school nurse/counselor you're depressed and how you feel...
