Do you get jealous when...?

someone gets a helpful rating and you don't (you know that thing that says __ person(s) thinks this answer was helpful) or do you just shrug it off?

haha well its their opinion. idc, as long as I helped. I mean not everybody gives advice, sooo atleast I, you, or whoever did, you know what I mean.
but dont get jealous, its the thought that counts...
cant people mark themselves as helpful lol anyways? they probably do that

Jealous? No - especially if it was a good answer that deserved a good rating.

However, I do get agitated when a truly unhelpful answer gets rated up when there were several very good answers that didn't.

Yea I used to get ticked off when my answer wasn't marked helpful but hey that's for the asker to decide. But the main thing that only ticks me off is if someone argues against my answer,I don't let it go,I come back and defend my answer.

If it was a really good answer, then they deserve it.
I don't like it when someone says something stupid and useless, but people rate it anyway because they like that person.

I feel good when I DO get those.
But if I don't then I guess I wasn't helpful, oh well ya know

aha no. If I got upset over something that pointless then my life would really suck. =P

nope don't ever get jellie when someone's answer gets rated as the most helpful...however, having said that when my humble answers receives star ratings, I do initiate a star jump and then dance around the bonfire, cursing and swearing like a potty mouth sailor
