If you honestly meant for this not to be a hate speech you would have referred to the proper term - homosexual, instead of using the derogatory term - gay. Just a little lesson in tact there.

To answer your question, while usually sexual acts between two same-gender people are often seen as homosexual, it is quite normal for many people to experiment, and thereby finding out if they are actually homosexual or if they're just curious...curiosity is a normal human function.

The term isn't all that derogatory really (I guess it depends on how it's used) seeing as it originated from a term associated with happiness (the term was actually gay, lol). A lot of homosexual people prefer to be referred to as gay than as homosexuals, lol. That term is awfully confronting and can be taken as being overly analytical. I prefer to be called straight than heterosexual :P.

I think in reality, allowing someone of the same gender to perform a sexual act upon you is always going to have great homosexual implications. My opinion is that it is a homosexual act (it takes two to tango; not just the person performing the act). It's no different to actually having homosexual sex in this regard. Two people of the same gender are involved and both parties consent to the act. Hence in my mind, it would be a homosexual act for both people involved. However, intent should always come into it too (or at least be considered). If you just want to know how it feels and have absolutely no interest in who is doing it, then you could argue that the act is not homosexual, but there are some flaws in that of course (people could argue about it for hours, lol).
