well I got my tongue pierced last march and it wasnt as bad as I thought... The clamp hurts more then the needle going through! your gargle with listerine then they clamp it and pierce it.. thats it... it'll swell for like 2 or 3 days you cant really eat... but everytime you eat or drink something you have to gargle but you only have to do that for like 2 or 3 weeks then thats it... its nothing I promise
pain is the last thing you should worry about...
its fairly easy to keep clean, yes it will swell fo a few days and might make it harder to pronounce letters like c and s.
also tounge peircings can take up to a year to heal, so if your going to change the peircing waitabout 6 months or so before doing it, because it needs this time to heal.
also like at the end of the day make sure theres no food bits caught on it.
and be aware that if done wrong its possible to paralize the tounge and other things. its a very impotant muscle so make sure you go somewere who knows what there doing!

Do tongue piercings hurt?
I want to get my tongue pierced but I want to know how much it hurts and is it easy to keep clean?
