Do opposites attract?

The sayng Opposites attract is this really true? do tall men like short women, do dark haired like light haired and vice versa? Do dominating people like timid people? etc ,etc.
Is a relationship more likely to work if you're more alike or is...

their any chance if you are opposites?

It's not specifically directed at appearances, but personality.

Two people who have differing views on things complete each other, in a sense...it's a harmonious relationship because there is balance.

it doesnt really matter but at times sometimes opposites do attract one of my ex bfs I could never see me with him until one day we became frineds and then best friends and then well we started to fall in love with one another soo we ended up dating for 5 months he was the complete opposite of me he really was he found burping cool I found it gross he hated to txt I love to txt he liked comedy I like drama and romance he was always joking around me not always and soo on we were opposites granted he was always joking around I got sick and tired of it because he could never be serious soowe broke up but we both had agreed that he was the funset bestest guy I ever dated and I was the bestest coolest girl he ever dated and that it was too bad we didnt work out soo what im trying to explain is that sometimes opposites do attract but not always

yeah I think they do, its good to have some stuff in common, but not everything.
its good to have different opinions and be able to share them with eachother.

No. Psychologists have done research on this, and no, opposites do not last... There is a difference between people who have opposite characteristics, and people who complement each other... the former not lasting, while the latter having more success
