Do my boyfriend really love me?

chemistry between us, and I've no idea why despite the quarrels we still got together. He is a very egoistic person and stubborn, and feels that what he thinks is correct. Im a rather friendly person so I've lots of guy friends (maybe because I feel that I could relate to guys better) and maybe because im quite screwed up in the past, like giving guys false hope unknowingly (because I was nice to everyone), he bans me from interacting with other guys. No sms, no hanging out, especially one-on-one. He got mad at me when he realised that I sms-ed this guy but did not tell him about it.

In the beginning, all was nice, he kept sending me home, dropping me with surprises. But recently, it is not so anymore. He started to mug like crazy in universities, and I feel very neglected. Despite being in the same faculty, we seldom meet up. Just like this week, we only met up like once. Even if I told him im in school (when he was also in school), he did not seem eager to find me. Actually I've cried many times over him, and it's very tiring. I kept expecting him to drop me surprises, to find me... I thought if you love the girl, you will want to see her badly. Now, he's just obsessed with his studies and neglect everything else. Doesnt he feel anything at all? Doesnt he miss me? He always tells me he misses me but he din do anything about it. Does he mean it at all?

I've cried many times over him. But I just dont want to give up because I really love my boyfriend. But sometimes hanging on can be as tough. I dont know what I meant to him anymore. And it's hurting me. I tell him about all these all the time, he will just say he's sorry, he's stressed over his studies... But can studying be the valid excuse for neglecting the r/s? I don't want to be in a r/s that is maintained by smses, and 1-2 phone calls per day. I just need him, caring for me, make me feel that im impt, let me feel that he loves me... He doesnt want to spend more time w me, but restricts me from interacting with other guys, and it's killing me too because im losing touch with many of my friends... And another weird thing is I did not interact w his family at all... And he refused to come my house to meet my parents or just have dinner because he said he wanted to have a career first before meeting my parents and bringing me back home... I just dont like it, how long do I have to wait? I feel damn disgusted w myself because it's not very nice for a girl to keep asking the guy whether he wants to interact w my family or not... Sigh.

What should I do? It's really hurting me. But I just don't feel like letting go. But I feel very tired... I need advice and your perspectives... Thanks. (:

well I think you need to talk to him tell him everything that your feelin then ask him how he feels about you an if he says he loves you then ask him if his life has room for a career an a girlfriend if he says yes then ask him if yall could mayb spend more time together an the parents thing put that on the back burner for now an work on your r/s 1st I hope this helped good luck
