Do long distance relationships work?

Shark Atack Asked by funadvice over 2 years ago, 2 answers.

I am in a relationship for a year and half and for the past 7 months it has been a long distance relationship. I am 18 and he is 22. We had been together for a year before he moved to Florida to get back into school. I live in Maryland and he is in...

Florida. We are both going to college. We have see each other ever 3 months but only for a week at a time. I do love him and want this to work. I want to know if there are any long distance relationships that work or any advice on this?

Long distance relationships usually do not work bcuz eventually both of U find some1 else 2 fill that void that has been left. This may or may not include physically, the new person could be just a good friend that U like 2 hang out but it never fails that sooner or later U will begin have feelings toward this person that may get in the way of Ur relationship. There is hope though, U can make it work but its gonna take from both of U 3x the effort of a normal relationship (3x the trust, 3x the commitment, 3x the denial of temptation)
