I doubt it but us kids are suposed to sleep 8 hours a day I suggest you do it if your not used to it you should train your body your bodies probaly used t onl sleeping for a few hours you trained it that way now youve got to untrain it and do whats best for you in th long run
you may just have Transient Insomnia which is not as serious as chronic. If your restlessness doesn't pass in a week or 2 I'd google it and try to diagnose yourself. You're probably just stressed out and can't get your mind to sleep...school will do that to ya. You should think about drinking a relaxing tea before bed...that helps most of the time.
I am no docter or anything but this one girl I know has insomnia and she sleeps for like 2 or 3 hrs sometimes but is really tired so I don't know what you have..........maybe you should go for help somewhere because then you could get it diagnosed and help urself!!
good luck!
Thanks for all the advice, but I forgot to put in some information. The thing is, m parents don't know I stay up late since all the lights are turned off and I just lay there and stare into space and sometimes play solitaire in my cellphone or I get bored an hum to myself, I try to make myself fall asleep but can't.
Do I have insomnia?
I'm 14, and some days only sleep for 2 hours because of my homework load, and I wake up perfectly energized and don't feel tired at all during the day. But when I sleep for more, like seven or eight hours I get really tired during the day and almost fall asleep in my classes. Is this like a sleeping disorder or something?
